104 New COVID-19 Cases recorded in Kenya as 8 More die

Kenya has recorded 104 new COVID-19 cases taking the country’s caseload to 35, 460 cases. 

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman says the new cases were identified from 2, 285 samples which were tested. 

Aman also announced that 74 people have recovered from the disease bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 21, 557.

However, the country has lost eight more people have succumbed to the virus raising the county’s death toll to 607. 

The CAS has also encouraged members of the public not to discriminate or stigmatize those who have recovered.
