Kenyan Envoy to South Sudan Dies

The late Kenyan ambassador to South Sudan, Mr Chris Karumba Mburu, has died from a heart attack and has been eulogized by President Uhuru Kenyatta as a dedicated civil servant, though at his time, Mburu had late last year seeking to resolve a bilateral conflict between Kenyan and South Sudan over the sale of counterfeit manufactured goods being smuggled into South Sudan.

Varisities’ 3rd Cohort Programme Aims to Train Engineers

Statistics from the Institute of Engineers in Kenya (IEK) indicate that there are 6,444 such practitioners in the country though there is a deficit of women, standing at only 436 and the third cohort by General Electric and the Africa Leadership University seeks to impart digital engineering skills that are relevant for their future.
