The Ministry of Petroleum is now actively seeking exploration, seismic and geophysical companies to gather and present exploration data at the event and invites Canadian, U.S. and European companies to SSOP 2019 to gain a better understanding of South Sudan’s oil and gas sector.

According to the Nexus Commonwealth Network, a publication for the Commonwealth Secretariat, Rwanda has a natural reserve of methane gas in Lake Kivu, estimated at 55 billion cubic metres, with a further 150 to 250 million cubic metres of methane being generated annually.
