Oye Kenya has announced Stephen Kimakon as the top winner of its popular “Maisha Nikujituma” campaign, rewarding him with a brand new TVS 125cc 5-gear motorcycle valued at KSh 160,000.
In addition to the motorcycle, Kimakon received two helmets, two reflectors, and a toolbox, celebrating his outstanding engagement with the platform.
Kimakon amassed over 1,500 points during the campaign by actively participating in Oye’s services, including purchasing fuel and lubricants at partner stations Sahara Energies and Galana Energies.
The campaign rewards loyalty by allowing riders to earn points for transactions within the boda-boda ecosystem, fostering stronger partnerships with fuel stations and lubricants suppliers.
“The prize is a game-changer for me,” Kimakon said. “I want to encourage my fellow riders across Kenya to engage with Oye Kenya’s platform. It’s a legitimate company, and I can testify that you can win big if you participate actively.”
Kevin Mutiso, Co-Founder and CEO of Oye Kenya, expressed enthusiasm about the achievement. “We are thrilled to recognize Stephen Kimakon today. Our partners at Galana and Sahara Energies have been instrumental in enabling us to streamline demand within the boda-boda community, making it easier for riders to access essential goods like fuel, lubricants, and gas.”
Oye Kenya continues to expand its innovative reward programs as part of its broader mission to provide accessible financial services tailored specifically for Kenya’s motorcycle taxi operators, empowering them to grow their livelihoods and communities.
