114 New COVID-19 cases recorded in Kenya, No Death reported in 24hrs

Kenya has recorded 114 new COVID-19 cases raising the country’s caseload to 34, 315 cases. 

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman says the new cases were identified from 1, 682 samples which tested positive.

Aman further announced that 263 COVID-19 patients who were under the home-based care treatment had been cleared of the virus while 55 were discharged from the hospitals raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 20, 211.  

The number of fatalities in the country still stands at 577 after no deaths were reported today.
