18 more patients have died of the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours, increasing the overall death toll to 456, according the Ministry of Health.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi confirmed 679 new cases of the viral disease, raising the national tally to 28,104.
The CAS also reported that 743 more patients have recovered from Covid-19, to bring the total of recoveries to 14, 610.
Kenya has now conducted 369,091 Covid-19 tests across the country.
