Six Kenyatta National Hospital employees have been charged with stealing Cancer drugs worth Sh4.6 million from the Hospital. 
The six, Emily Nyambura, Phillip Owino, Mary Mumo, Yvonne Muthoni, Rose Jepkogei, and Maureen Adongo conspired to steal the cancer medication from the Kenyatta Prime Care Centre pharmacy valued at more than Ksh.9 million.
While appearing before Chief Magistrate Wendy Michemi, they all pleaded not guilty and were to be released upon payment of cash bail of Ksh.500,000 or a bond of Ksh.1million.

Additionally, the trial magistrate directed their lawyer to file a formal application after they challenged the charge sheet that had been stamped by the Kenya police
