Carrefour has launched its second annual Brand Festival, a two-week promotional campaign offering discounts of up to 50 percent alongside a prize draw worth an estimated KES 9 million.
The Grand Brand Festival, running from 19 September to 2 October 2025, features reduced prices across groceries, fresh produce, electronics, personal care products, and household essentials. The promotion is available across all 29 Carrefour stores nationwide and through the retailer’s mobile application.
Customers purchasing selected products from participating brands will automatically enter a draw to win prizes including two cars, school fees support, and fully paid holiday packages. Winners will be announced through a series of online and live draws scheduled between 26 September and 8 October.
This year’s festival places emphasis on Kenyan suppliers, with the retailer featuring and promoting products from local brands as part of its commitment to supporting domestic producers. Majid Al Futtaim, which operates Carrefour in Kenya, sources 99 percent of its products locally.
The promotion represents Carrefour’s largest annual consumer campaign, designed to drive foot traffic and boost sales during the tail end of the third quarter. The retailer has expanded its presence in Kenya significantly over the past year, recently opening its 30th store at Waris Mall in Ruai.
Carrefour operates 25 stores in Nairobi and surrounding areas, four in Mombasa, and one in Kisumu, serving customers through both physical outlets and digital platforms.
