Local Kenyan creative selected for TikTok awards

Azziad Nasenya, popularly known as Kenya’s TikTok Queen, has been
nominated for the South African-based 2020 Starqt Awards for her outstanding acts on TikTok. She is set to battle it out with famous TikTok stars, Mc Shem from Nigeria and Witney Ramabulana from
South Africa, for the Best TikTok Act under the entertainment category.
In its 7 th edition the Starqt Awards focuses on lifestyle, entertainment, unsung heroes, business, community, global and sports. This year the awards gala will be honoring individuals who stood out during lockdown across the above-mentioned categories.
Starqt Awards’ mission is to unite, acknowledge, recognise, celebrate and reward trail blazers who are positively impacting their communities by encouraging others to reach for the sky and achieve their
goals.
When asked to comment on her nomination, Azziad said: “I would like to thank Starqt for this nomination, I feel greatly honoured. I’m also grateful to my fans without whom I would not have made it this far – thank you. To all those who love my content and continue to follow and support me, I would like to call upon you to vote for me.”
