Kenya Breweries Limited’s premium apple cider, Tusker Cider, has been announced as the official beer partner for the highly anticipated 2024 Blankets and Wines festival.
The event is set to take place at Laureate Gardens, Moi Sports Centre Kasarani.
Scheduled for the 7th of April, the first festival of the year promises Tusker Cider enthusiasts a vibrant array of musical talents in a picnic-style setting where music, food, and fashion converge.
Attendees can look forward to a day filled with entertainment, socializing, and relaxation in a convivial atmosphere.
Blankets and Wine organizers have curated an impressive lineup of local and regional artists, including Chris Kaiga, Fena Gitu, Eric Wainaina, Vijana Baru Baru, Wanavokali, Blinky Bill, South African DJ and Music producer Dlala Thukzin, and Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Wurld.
Expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration, Tusker Cider Brand Manager Brigid Wambua stated, “We are thrilled to be part of one of Kenya’s premier entertainment events. At the festival, Tusker Cider consumers can look forward to engaging experiences such as Sip and Paint sessions and face beats. Additionally, those purchasing a Tusker Cider 6-pack will receive exclusive branded merchandise.
Leading up to the event, Tusker Cider will engage with consumers through sampling activations at Kizomba on Thursday and Mawimbi Seafood restaurant on Saturday.
This partnership marks another milestone in Tusker Cider’s collaboration with Blankets and Wine, building on their association since last year. Since its inception in 2008, Blankets & Wine has transformed into a pan-African, multi-faceted platform, showcasing contemporary live music and artistry across the continent.
