Business Ireland Kenya to host sector-focused engagements

Business Ireland Kenya (BIK) network is set to host and partner on several sector focused virtual engagements.

Beginning in September, the engagements will focus on relevant thematic knowledge from industry and thought leaders.

The association supports the building of trade and investment between Ireland and Kenya

The first event will focus on Cybersecurity to be held on 1st September 2020 which will provide an overview of Northern Ireland’s cybersecurity capabilities, insight to the latest trends from Kenyan and Northern Irish cybersecurity specialists and their key learnings from COVID19 as well as how they have made an impact to their customers.

BIK has more than 100 corporate and individuals members with and regional focus representing diverse sectors including but not limited to specialist consulting and advisory, security, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, logistics, hospitality, agrifood and technology.

The keynote speakers are Mr. Silvanus Sewe – Director, Global Forensic Services Limited & Chair of KEPSA Security Board, Mark McCann – Digital ICT Sector Executive from Invest Northern Ireland, John Bailie – Head of Business Development and Marketing at SaltDNA and Keniz Agira – Chair of Kenya Cyber Security & Forensics Association (KCSFA).
