The 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Gabon set for March 24th, will be played at the Nyayo National Stadium as part of a test drive ahead of the CAF African Nations Championship Tournament in August.
This announcement was made on Sunday after the end of a two-day inspection tour of discussions to have more test matches both at the Nyayo National Stadium and Moi International Stadium Centre in Kasarani.
The CAF delegation visited the Nyayo and Kasarani competition venues as well as Ulinzi Sports Complex and Police Sacco stadium citing the progress made as beneficial for the upcoming tournament.
Nickolas Musonye, Chairman of CHAN LOC further has given a resounding thumbs-up to the revamped stadiums by CAF and encourages Kenyans to attend the upcoming match.
