Kenya Records 178 new COVID-19 cases and 4 fatalities

Kenya has recorded 178 new COVID-19 cases from a sample size of 3,474.

This now brings the country’s total caseload to 34,493.  

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe says of the new cases, 173 are Kenyans and 5 foreigners. 

At the same time, a total of 238 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours.

Of the amount, 187 were from home-based care.

However, 4 patients have succumbed to the virus, rising to 581 the total number of COVID-19 deaths.
