Kenya’s COVID-19 death toll rises by 10 as 355 new cases are reported

Kenya’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 542 after 10 more patients succumbed to the virus over a period of 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health also announced 355 new COVID-19 cases from a sample of 5724 bringing the cumulative cases to 32,118.

The new patients include 16 foreigners and are distributed among 213 males and 142 females.

The Ministry’s Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said that 296 more patients have recovered from the disease including 202 who were placed under Home based care program

 The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,453.
