Saviynt has appointed Kamel Heus as Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), as the identity security provider steps up its expansion across one of the world’s rapidly growing cybersecurity markets.
Based in Dubai, Heus will oversee Saviynt’s business operations across the MEA region, including Turkey. His responsibilities will cover new business development, renewals, customer expansion and the company’s regional channel strategy.
Heus will also focus on expanding Saviynt’s partner ecosystem and building a stronger local go-to-market team as organizations across sectors increasingly adopt cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
The company said a key priority will be expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia and developing local hosting capabilities to support regional delivery and data residency requirements.

Angstadt said Heus’s regional experience and understanding of customers, markets and partners would support the company’s expansion plans.
Heus brings two decades of enterprise cybersecurity sales leadership experience across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Before joining Saviynt, he served as Vice President, EMEA at Thales, where he led its Identity and Access Management business.
He previously held senior positions at Thales, Centrify, now Delinea, and Sophos.
“The Middle East and Africa have become one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity markets in the world, and Identity sits right at the center of it, especially as AI agents enter the enterprise,” Heus said.
He said his immediate focus would be on strengthening Saviynt’s local presence, developing its partner ecosystem and helping organizations securely manage access for both employees and AI systems.
The appointment comes as AI agents increasingly gain access to enterprise applications and data, creating new identity and access management challenges for organizations.
Saviynt’s Zuma platform is designed to provide visibility into AI identities while enabling organizations to apply governance and least-privilege access controls throughout their lifecycle.
Heus holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computing from Université Grenoble Alpes in France and has been based in Dubai for more than a decade.
Saviynt said his appointment forms part of its long-term investment in the MEA market as cloud adoption, AI and digital transformation continue to reshape enterprise security requirements.
