Manyatta Cider joined thousands of vernacular music fans at the 10th Edition of Kikuyu Love Session as a partner, bringing its Taste Like Home spirit to a night of music, culture and connection. Held at the Ngong Racecourse, Waterfront, the Slightly Scandalous Edition blended Kikuyu heritage with contemporary Kenyan social life.

The lineup featured Lil Maina, Ayrosh, Chris Kaiga, Mūringī & Friends and AFRIMA Award winners Hornsphere. Comedian Mammito hosted, keeping the energy high through an evening of music, stories and cultural expression.

The partnership reflects Manyatta Cider’s Taste Like Home proposition: the familiar flavours, shared experiences and connections that make people feel at home. It also underlines the brand’s commitment to backing authentic Kenyan cultural experiences that bring communities together and give people fresh ways to connect with their heritage.

“Culture has a special way of bringing people together, creating a sense of belonging and reminding us of the things we share. At Manyatta, we believe that some of the most meaningful moments happen when people come together over music, stories and experiences that feel familiar. Our partnership with Kikuyu Love Session reflects our Taste Like Home spirit and our commitment to celebrating the connections that make us who we are,” said Catherine Wahu, Brand Manager, Manyatta Cider.

True to its theme, the Slightly Scandalous Edition encouraged guests to be spontaneous, meet new people and enjoy the richness of vernacular music. From the stage performances to the moments shared in the crowd, the event showed that cultural platforms can honour heritage and still feel relevant to today’s audiences.

Manyatta Cider will continue to champion Kenyan culture and meaningful connections, bringing its Taste Like Home spirit to the experiences that bring people together.
