Yellow Card has launched a new service enabling businesses to access named bank accounts in US dollars, British pounds and euros while managing cross-border payments through one platform.
Known as Global Accounts, the service uses established banking partners to provide businesses with access to international payment networks, including ACH, SWIFT and Fedwire. It also supports local payment rails for more than 50 currencies across over 190 countries.
The service is designed to make international financial management less complex for businesses operating in multiple markets. Companies can access the infrastructure through a single application programming interface or Yellow Card’s Treasury Portal.
In addition to direct business accounts, the offering includes managed bank account structures for platforms requiring additional regulatory coverage. These arrangements allow eligible platforms to issue named accounts to their end customers.
Yellow Card chief executive officer and co-founder Chris Maurice said businesses should not have to establish a new banking relationship each time they expand into another country.
He said the service provides a common infrastructure for moving, managing and accessing funds internationally, reducing the need for businesses to develop separate financial operations in every market.
Global Accounts builds on Yellow Card’s established payments network, which has processed more than $10 billion in transaction volume. The company has nine active licences and registrations globally.
Yellow Card said businesses interested in using the service can arrange a consultation with its team.
