Samsung has deepened its presence in Nairobi with the opening of a new Experience Store in the city’s Central Business District, marking the brand’s second such outlet in the capital.
The store, a partnership between Megahub Connect Limited and Samsung Electronics East Africa, is located at Cameo Building along Kenyatta Avenue. It follows the success of Samsung’s first Experience Store at Hilton, which opened in 2024, and reflects the company’s push to bring its latest technology closer to Kenyan consumers through a more hands-on retail experience.
Rather than a conventional showroom, the new outlet is designed to let shoppers see, touch, and test Samsung’s products before deciding to buy. On offer is a full range of devices, from Galaxy smartphones and tablets to wearables and Galaxy Buds, giving visitors a feel for how the wider Galaxy ecosystem works together.
A central feature of the store is its focus on Galaxy AI, with staff running live demonstrations to show customers how the technology’s AI-powered tools can simplify everyday tasks and boost productivity.
Speaking at the launch, Evelyn Munene, Head of Product and Marketing at Samsung Kenya, said, “We are delighted to mark this important milestone in our partnership with Megahub Connect. This opening reflects our commitment to serving our customers better by creating a space where they can experience Samsung technology first-hand, receive personalized guidance and find solutions that meet their everyday needs.”
Beyond product displays, the store has been set up as a space for learning and community engagement, with interactive zones and device spotlights meant to draw customers in. Regular demonstrations, product launches, and workshops are planned to keep the store active as a destination customers can return to.
Timothy Karanja, Director at Megahub Connect Limited, pointed to the shift in how consumers approach new technology. “Technology continues to evolve rapidly, and consumers want to understand how it can fit into their everyday lives before making a decision. Our aim is to make that journey easier by creating an environment where customers can experience Samsung technology first-hand, receive expert guidance and find solutions that meet their individual needs,” he said.
The store also offers practical support beyond sales, including device setup, data transfers, and software troubleshooting, aimed at helping customers get more out of the devices they already own.
For Megahub Connect, the Cameo Building location represents a continued investment in its relationship with Samsung customers in Nairobi. Its central position along Kenyatta Avenue puts it within easy reach of tech enthusiasts, professionals, and businesses in the CBD.
The store is now open to the public.
