Guinness is brewed with extra hops to preserve the beer in the ships’ holds during voyages of four to five weeks in tropical climates, the recipe yielded a powerful drink with a bold character, a black liquid with a frothy head.
Drinkers will simply need to insert a chilled Guinness 330ml can, pull the lever and the Guinness ProServe does the rest; expertly tilting the glass to the perfect angle before releasing the rich, dark Guinness liquid in a beautiful two-part pour to form a thick, creamy head. Global Head of Guinness Quality, Steve Gilsenan is in Kenya to mark the launch and celebrate the monumental technological breakthrough that brought drinkers the perfect Guinness pour.
