Guinness is brewed with extra hops to preserve the beer in the ships’ holds during voyages of four to five weeks in tropical climates, the recipe yielded a powerful drink with a bold character, a black liquid with a frothy head.
Drinkers will simply need to insert a chilled Guinness 330ml can, pull the lever and the Guinness ProServe does the rest; expertly tilting the glass to the perfect angle before releasing the rich, dark Guinness liquid in a beautiful two-part pour to form a thick, creamy head. Launching in 5 bars across Nairobi, Guinness drinkers at K1 Klub house, Bar Next Door Kiambu Road, Geco, Kengeles, and Bar XO will be able to experience the creamy, fresh taste of a perfect Guinness in seconds.
Global Head of Guinness Quality, Steve Gilsenan is in Kenya to mark the launch and celebrate the monumental technological breakthrough that brought drinkers the perfect Guinness pour. Kenya is the first marker for the preserve machine a stride that he attributes to the innovative nature of the country and how quickly it positively embraces innovations.
