Beer lovers in Nairobi spent the weekend soaking up three days of Kenya Breweries Limited’s (KBL) finest brews and live performances from some of the country’s top homegrown talent, as Tusker Oktobafest landed at Covo, Kahawa Sukari. The Nairobi leg is the latest stop on the nationwide festival’s tour, following successful editions in Eldoret, Nanyuki and Mombasa.

The weekend’s lineup mixed DJ sets and live acts, setting the tone for a long stretch of music and celebration. Friday, October 23, opened with DJ Lisney and Brian the DJ keeping the crowd moving, while MC Jose hosted the evening.

On Saturday, October 24, the energy climbed with a thrilling performance from Willy Paul, joined by Baze to Billboardz music group Keteh. Sunday, October 25, closed out the Kahawa Sukari edition with sets from DJs Njerae and Codeblack, who wrapped up the weekend with a showcase of Kenyan talent and a wide range of musical sounds.
