Deputy President William Ruto yesterday visited Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria at a Dubai hospital where he is nursing third-degree burns he sustained on his feet.
Kuria suffered the third-degree burns from an electric mat he was using to cure numbness which unfortunately led to his hospitalization for months.
The visit ends the speculation about the DP’s whereabout after missing from the his campaign with the Kenya Kwanza team for the better part of the week.
Kuria took to his Facebook page to reveal that the country’s second in command was in Dubai where he also paid him a courtesy call.
“Today I was visited by H.E the Deputy President William Ruto and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi in Dubai,” he said.
Kuria used the opportunity to invite the Deputy President to his thanksgiving ceremony scheduled on February 19, 2022 in Thika, Kiambu County.
“I updated them on my recovery progress and formally invited them to join me and all Kenyans on February 19” he said.
Kuria has been in Dubai since December 2021 where he went for stem cell surgery which was the eighth surgery since the occurrence of the incident
