Kenya records 83 new COVID-19 Cases

Kenya’s COVID-19 infections Sunday declined to 83, following the testing of 3,093 samples.

This now brings the East African country’s total caseload of the disease to 35,103.

The Ministry of Health said of the new cases, 77 were Kenyans while 6 are foreigners, with 58 being males while 25 were females.

At the same time 72 patients have recovered from the disease, 39 from the home-based care program and 33 were discharges from various hospitals, raising the total recoveries in the country to 21,230.

The country’s death toll now stands at 597 after 3 more patients succumbed to the disease.
