The hotel’s amenities are extensive and luxurious. Guests can enjoy versatile meeting and event spaces, a cutting-edge fitness center, a heated swimming pool, and dining options that celebrate both local and international cuisines. A highlight of the property is the birdcage-themed Aviary Rooftop Cocktail Lounge, where visitors can indulge in inventive and classic cocktails, savor Thai-inspired bites, and take in the panoramic views of Nairobi’s skyline.

The grand opening event showcased not only the hotel’s impressive facilities but also Dusit’s unique fusion of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality with local service traditions. The company emphasized its dedication to enhancing Kenya’s tourism industry and contributing to economic growth by drawing international visitors and crafting memorable experiences for all.

“We are committed to being a vibrant part of the Nairobi community, fostering connections, and creating a lasting positive impact,” said Mr. Lionel Formento, General Manager of Dusit Princess Hotel Residences Nairobi. “Through local partnerships, cultural initiatives, and environmental responsibility, we aim to enrich the lives of all those we collaborate with, leaving a legacy far beyond a comfortable stay.” Mr. Formento also highlighted that Dusit Princess, while part of Dusit International, is distinct from Dusit D2, emphasizing the new location and brand concept.

The grand opening was graced by esteemed guests including Dr. Alfred N. Mutua, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs; Ms. June Chepkemei, CEO of the Kenya Tourism Board; and H.E. Ms. Morakot Janemathukorn, the Thai Ambassador to Kenya. Their presence underscored the significance of this new venture in strengthening ties and promoting tourism in the region.
