IEBC Announces Vacancies, How to Apply

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has this morning announced 418,192 vacancies that are temporal and need to be filled by the time of the August 9 Elections.

IEBC is hereby seeking to recruit 47 Deputy County Returning Officers, 47 County-Based Voter Educators, and 290 Constituency-based Voter educators.

Other positions to be filled include presiding officers (52,481), polling clerks/counting clerks (302,860), ICT clerks (580), and deputy constituency returning officers (290).

“The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) invites qualified applicants for the following temporary positions to be engaged during the August 9 2022 General Election,” IEBC stated.

Those seeking the opportunities can apply by visiting the IEBC job portal and uploading their details.

“Applicants who strictly meet the requirements should apply online at the IEBC jobs portal,” read the statement in part.

IEBC added that the portal will close on May 5 even as they urged interested applicants to submit their applications on time.
