Mizizi Africa Homes on Monday secured two prestigious property awards maintaining its impressive three-year winning streak as Kenya’s top and most trusted low-cost housing developer.

The esteemed Starbrands East Africa 2023-2024 awards recognized Mizizi Africa Homes as “The Most Reliable Real Estate Developer in Low-Cost Housing in Kenya.” Additionally, the company emerged as the “Best Affordable Housing Developers in 2023” in the renowned Real Estate 100 Awards 2023.

Expressing his delight, George Mburu, the Chief Executive Officer of Mizizi Africa Homes, stated that industry experts have consistently acknowledged and commended their efforts over the past three years.

Mburu emphasized that these accolades highlight Mizizi’s unwavering commitment to providing innovative, cost-effective, and timely housing and investment solutions. Furthermore, they serve as a testament to the developer’s ongoing dedication to customers while contributing to the government’s affordable housing agenda and the growth of the real estate sector in Kenya.

“These recognitions serve as daily motivation for us to strive for even greater achievements, especially as we embark on our next phase of property development. This phase will encompass a comprehensive range of real estate services, all conveniently available under one roof,” added Mburu.

Earlier this year, Mizizi introduced a groundbreaking business concept, enabling both existing and potential clients to purchase land from the company and subsequently develop customized units on the acquired plots.

Known as the ‘Buy, We Build’ model, this innovative approach is set to be fully implemented starting in 2024. It expands Mizizi Africa Homes’ portfolio to include the sale of fully serviced prime plots, with the ultimate goal of making modern and affordable homeownership even more accessible to most Kenyans.
