PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort and Spa has announced a KSh 2.5 million Valentine’s Day treat for couples who desire to celebrate their love at no cost.
The package, dubbed A Taste of Paradise includes two nights at the resort’s presidential suite overlooking the turquoise Indian Ocean.
The lucky couple will enjoy a return business class tickets between Nairobi to Mombasa, and upon pickup, will be ushered to a luxurious limousine for an express transfer to and from the airport with outriders.
A complimentary bottle of champagne will be at their arm’s reach to kick start a night of endless pampering and merriment.
The package will also see the lovebirds savour an 8-course candle-lit champagne dinner overlooking the Ocean, with cooling breeze and whistling palms making the moment extra special.
Additionally, the couple will have a personal chef and will be serenaded by a classical saxophonist.
For the hefty figure of KSh 2.5 million, more pampering awaits the couple: A massage at the resort’s award-winning Bamboo Ocean Spa and a one-hour jet ski adventure. But the icing on the cake will include a pair of diamond earrings for the lady and diamond cufflinks for the gentleman.
The PrideInn Paradise Valentine’s Day offer comes at a time when Kenya’s luxury market is emerging from the shadows of COVID-19 and a slump in international tourist arrivals.
In May 2022, the Africa Wealth report ranked Kenya among the largest luxury markets in Africa. Kenya was ranked second after South Africa, putting Nairobi head to head with cities such as Cape Town, Johannesburg and Lagos in their demand for luxury.
PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort and Spa General Manager James Rattos said the package is a way of meeting an ongoing demand for high-end hospitality services.
“At PrideInn Paradise, we have observed the trends and desires of the affluent in Kenyan society. They want luxury. They want well-thought our services that are exclusive to them. We are always listening to our guests to meet their desires. This is why we have introduced this offer,” Rattos said.
The general manager also added that the hospitality sector had been steadily evolving in the last two years, with trends leading to the personalisation of services.
Aptly named Paradise for heavenly- like services and products it offers, the resort is located in Kenya’s Mombasa County in Shanzu. The resort enjoys a white sandy beach and a world-class convention centre.
It has 240 rooms and is the largest convention centre in the coastal region with a 2,500 delegate capacity. In 2019, the resort became the first facility in Mombasa to achieve a five-star rating.
